I believe in elemental beings and just because I can't see them doesn't prove that they don't exist.  I've never seen an angel, but I've met too many people who have had  encounters who I believe to be reliable, and I don't discredit their experience.  People have also had encounters with fairies, elves, and leprechauns, so why should I completely discredit them either?  Especially when it's much more fun to believe! 

The notorious Findhorn garden had amazing prize winning crops the first season despite attempting to grow in an area that nothing grew well in before.  They connected with the nature spirits and let them know that they were hoping to work together with them and wanted to work with nature instead of against nature.  They didn't want to use  man made fertilizers or pesticides or things that would be harmful to the Earth.  The nature spirits communicated with them and instructed them on what to do and tipped them off when their were opportunities to obtain free supplies that would help them with their gardening efforts since they didn't have much money.  "The Findhorn Garden" is a delightful book to read for anyone interested in working with nature in this way.
